FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power generation and is designed to use wind power for electric power generation for isolated structures. Windmill generator comprises several cylindrical turbine units arranged on vertical axis of rotation each incorporating a rotor with concave-convex blades and an electrical multi-pole gate DC generator furnished with the automatic control system allowing to control stator winding cut-in circuits and excitation or with permanent magnets, output power controllers to ensure the rated rotor r.p.m. in the range of nrated=(0.5-0.6)nxx, when nxx is the rotor idling r.p.m. with wind speed under actual conditions. The generator is installed between two units of wind turbine and incorporates additionally a shaft on the stator. The generator rotator and stator are linked up with the units' rotors. The stator plates and rotor blades of the upper units are arranged directed towards the turbine rotor rotation and that of generator rotor linked up with the latter. The stator plates and rotor blades of the lower unit are arranged aligned with the turbine rotor and generator rotor to counter clockwise.
EFFECT: expanded range of wind speeds used for power generation, lower sizes and weight.
