MULTI-ROTOR POWER PLANT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC F03D1/02 F03B3/04

Abstract RU 2728304 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multi-rotor power plants converting wind or water energy into electric energy. Installation is fixed on a rotating platform including a central shaft with coaxial rotors of turbines (1, 2) with blades (3) installed on it, a mechanical gear reducer, a generator and rolling bearings (13). Rotors (1, 2) form block (A). On the central shaft additional units (B) and (C) are installed. Unit (C) includes stator (9) and rotor (10) of generator. Angular speed of each subsequent rotor of unit (C) increases. Number of blocks is determined by the number of turbine rotors. In the housing of each next rotor of the turbine there is a mechanical gear reducer including reduction gears (4), shaft gears and rolling bearings (13). On the central shaft there is a unit (B) consisting of three magnetic bearings (11, 12). Central rotor (12) of the magnetic bearing is not fixed on the shaft. Two stators (11) of other magnetic bearings installed along the edges are fixed on the shaft.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the plant.
