FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: electrode of magnetic transformer in flow meter, which provides for generation of alternating magnetic field in fluid flow, contains metal and layer of this metal salt installed between metal and fluid and applied by electrochemical method or by means of sintering. Metal may be represented by silver. In this case layer of salt contains silver haloid salt, which represents silver chloride or fluoride. In version of magnetic transformer layer of metal salt is partially reduced back to metal. Electrode has lower energy of noise at frequencies below 5 Hz compared to electrode containing stainless steel or corrosion-resistant metal alloy.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
