FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic induction flow metre comprises metering pipe (1) installed in manifold with magnetising coils (4), metering electrodes and compensation rings (2), and secondary electronic unit, including supply unit (12), magnetising unit (A), metering unit (B), low pass filter (10), analog-digital converter (11) of metering signals, microcontroller (5), memory unit (13), data transfer unit (14), indicator (15). Metering unit consists of instrument amplifier (8) and integrator (9).
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of measurement of average speed of medium flow as a result of levelling of electrochemical potential in metering pipe, by introduction of compensation rings, usage of compensation circuit of differences between electrochemical and polarisation potentials of electrodes at infralow frequencies, and also provides for accounting of polarisation potential in process of digitised signal processing.
