FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying device having electrochemical cell with measuring chamber, the first electrode, the second electrode mounted on in front of the first one approximately 500 mcm far from it, opening for introducing sample into the measuring chamber, erythrocyte lysis agent and reagent containing in the measuring chamber and having recovery properties under hemoglobin action with electric signal pointing to hemoglobin quantity being produced. The sample is placed into the measuring chamber and electrochemical measurement is taken. The electrochemical measurement stage involves applying position potential to the first electrode, measuring reagent and hemoglobin reaction current, analyzing the current with the time essentially required for erythrocyte lysis or calculated finite current value included into the obtained result, calculating reaction completion percent as function of time based on analysis stage result. Next, potential is measured on the first electrode, transition current is measured and diffusion coefficient and recovered reagent form concentration is determined on the basis of transition current.
EFFECT: accelerated and simplified field and laboratory test method.
