FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of raising plantations involves planting alternating rows of drought-resistant and hygrophilous species of wood. On raised and levelled ground features, rows are made entirely from draught resistant species. The outer most rows of the plantation are made from draught resistant species. On depressions, rows are made from hygrophilous species.
EFFECT: reduced number of seedlings used, increased gain of biomass and increased biodiversity of the plantation due to differential growing of hygrophilous and draught resistant species of wood.
