FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is provided for preparation of rolling face of mills before rolling. Method includes facility with shaft contact and brushes with metal pile with location of its longitudinal axis in the same plane, introduction into the contact of periphery brush pile with heated bar made of coating material, coating of wear-resistant coating on roller by means of mutual rotation and reciprocal deflection lengthwise longitudinal axis of brush and roll. Sliding value, that is difference between line speed of roller during the coating process by angle of slope change of brush in the direction of its movement.
EFFECT: improvement of antiwear coating plating on surface of forming roll.
