FIELD: welding jobs.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises the bed supporting two vertical posts fixed perpendicular to the bed. Ultrasound unit with waveguide is arranged between the posts, connected thereto to translate relative to them. A counter stop with its center connected to the bed by a metal rod is arranged opposite the waveguide working end. Note that the said counter stop is additionally connected to the bed by three adjustable-height supports that can be represented by stop screws set at equal distance from the center, the screw-to-screw distance being equal. Ultrasound unit can be translated by air-operated drive.

EFFECT: variable parameters and adjustments prior to starting welding, simpler design.
