FIELD: aircraft industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for producing the panels used in aircraft industry and space industry as well as in shipbuilding industry and automobile production, when manufacturing containers. Material consists of metal layers 1-3, 9, and plastic bonding layers 4-6 located between metal layers two of which, being solid metal layers 1, 3, are external, and at least one metal layer 2, 9 - internal. At least one internal metal layer 9 has at least one hole 10. Where hole 10 is made, other metal layers 1-3 and plastic bonding layers 4-6 are connected to each other thus forming a package of decreased thickness. Total area of holes 10 of metal layer 9 is the same as that of the rest part of metal layer 9, or exceeds it. At least one plastic bonding layer 5, 6 is reinforced with fibre. Metal layer is less than 1.5 mm thick, but 0.1 - 0.8 mm is more preferable, and is made from aluminium, copper, magnesium, titanium, scandium, or from alloys of those metals. Metal layer with holes forms local thickenings in sandwich material to be connected to other constructions without substantial damage to the panel's advantages.
EFFECT: low weight and good mechanical properties.
