FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device of coating by means of flame and can be used while receiving of cast-iron pipes with plating made of zinc or alloy Zn-Al. For receiving of coating by burner (42) it is formed flame (44) of maximum rate, allowing direction (F), coinciding with (Y-Y) of flame and oriented into the product side (40) Into the flame (44) by means of device (46) it is introduced piece of meltable material of coating. It is chosen maximal rate of flame and distance between product (40) and flame (44) from the condition, that at the connection moment with product (40), at least, part of meltable material amount of coating were in melt condition. Amount of meltable material of coating contains powder, at that powder part corresponds powdery watses. Flame (44) allows temperature low enough for powder particles wouldn't evaporated and high enough for powder particles, at least, partially would be molten.
EFFECT: development of highly economical coating method.
