DECORATIVE FABRIC WITH LOW INFLAMMABILITY "DECOR M" Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC D03D15/00

SUBSTANCE: proposed fibre is meant for use as decorative-upholstery material for interior of public buildings, institutions and transport. The decorative fibre with low inflammability Decor M is made from fireproofed polyester threads or yarn and contains a combustible component, chosen from a group of cotton, viscose, linen fibre or their mixture. The ratio of the incombustible and combustible components in the fabric equals 20:80- 80:20 respectively, and the surface density of the fibre is 160-350 g/m². The fabric is also impregnated with an aqueous solution of an ammonium salt of phosphonic acid with concentration 100-120 g/l.

EFFECT: designing an optimum structure of the fibre, providing for combining high fireproof properties, reduced static characteristics, peeling property, shrinking property, improved hygroscopic property and resistance to contamination.
