FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil and gas industry, particularly developments of deposits of heavy oil and natural bitumen. At the stage of preliminary oil bed heating annular space of the well is partially closed by means of steam circulation, thus excessive pressure in the well is created. Also circulation of steam in the well is performed with volume required for partial absorption of fluid in borehole environment. Further, circulation of steam in the well is stopped, and time-spaced measurements of temperature are performed along the whole length of well borehole from the moment of circulation terminating to achieving equilibrium temperature state. Model of conductive heat exchange is built on base of obtained time-spaced temperature measurements, and permeability profile of oil bed is determined with this model.
EFFECT: expanded region of implementation and facilitating quantitative assessment of permeability profile of oil bed along borehole of well, also upgraded efficiency of heat carrier use and reduction of losses of equipment at development of deposits.
