FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of developing deposits of high-viscosity oil and natural bitumen. In the method of developing deposits of natural bitumen and high-viscosity oil, water vapor is pumped with dryness of at least 80% to heat the formation to a temperature of at least 160 °C, then steam supply is stopped and by means of pumps water solution of water-soluble catalyst of aquathermolysis—transition metal sulphate, selected from the row is pumped into productive formation Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mo, with mass concentration from 20 to 50%. Then, hot water is pumped in addition to at least 1 volume of the well. Further, the well is closed for the time required for adsorption of said aquathermolysis catalyst. Then steam is injected at temperature of more than 200 °C for at least 5 days. Development in the disclosed method is carried out by cyclic injection of steam or technology of steam-assisted gravity drainage.
EFFECT: possibility of development of flooded formations, absence of deterioration or increase of permeability, reduced share of heavy oil components relative to initial oil, increased oil displacement coefficient, reduced oil viscosity.
