FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: device is intended for application in multicylinder pumps (1) for viscous materials, especially for continuous supply of concrete. Pump comprises two supply cylinders (3, 5) for sending viscous material from preliminary filling hopper (7) to feeding manifold. There is switching valve (9) in pump for alternate connection of supply cylinders to feeding manifold connected to them. Switching valve (9) comprises at least two movable distribution slide valves (15, 17) executing substantially reciprocal motion. Every slide valve comprises rectilinear sending compartment (15L, 17L), which in passing position takes position downstream supply cylinder and communicates to collector (19). At that distribution slide valve connects appropriate feeding cylinder (3, 5) to supply manifold. Method is also described for actuation of pump for viscous materials.

EFFECT: provision of continuous material feed.
