FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: pulses of ultrasonic oscillations are introduced slantwise to junction of joined parts, and penetration of joint edge is defined by absence of echo-signal from artificial reflector arranged on one of joint mated surface at the distance from its edge equal to specified depth of penetration, at that at first pulses of ultrasonic oscillations are introduced slantwise to joint of test sample varying points of ultrasonic oscillations introduction with the help of accessory, whenever echo-signals from artificial reflector are registered with the help of accessory, position of ultrasonic finder, in which echo-signals were received, is fixed, then in process of joined parts junction penetration monitoring, accessory with ultrasonic finder is installed on them, at that location of ultrasonic finder relative to artificial reflector arranged in one of monitored parts is identical to its location relative to artificial reflector in test sample, afterwards pulses of ultrasonic oscillations are introduced in points on trajectory, all points of which are distanced from artificial reflector at the same distance, at that pulses of ultrasonic oscillations are introduced in part body, on joined surface of which artificial reflector is arranged, monitoring of penetration depth in junctions of the following joined parts is started immediately after pulses of ultrasonic oscillations have been introduced in body of these parts in areas that lie on trajectory identical to the first trajectory.
EFFECT: increased validity and efficiency of joined parts junction penetration monitoring.
