FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: hydroacoustic synchronous distance-measuring navigation long-range system comprises sea floor navigation base of hydroacoustic receiving transponders and sea floor navigation base of hydoacoustic beacon-pingers, which are mechanically connected to corresponding transponder beacons. Besides, system comprises clockpulse generators, transmitters, hydroacoustic radiators located near sea floor, meters of time for distribution of acoustic signals to transponder beacon, units for transformation of time intervals into distances by number N of possible beam trajectories, units for selection of distance maximum value, calculator of navigation object coordinates, the second clockpulse generator operating synchronously with clockpulse generators of beacon-pingers, receiving acoustic antenna, the second M channel receiver for reception of acoustic signals of beacon-pingers, meters of time for distribution of acoustic signals from beacon-pingers to navigation object, additional M units for transformation of time intervals in distance. Receiving acoustic antenna and hydroacoustic radiators are arranged as directional in vertical plane.

EFFECT: increased range with minimum required radiated power, without increased error of navigation object coordinates determination and without towage of receiving antenna near sea floor.
