FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: gamma-resonance unit of Mossbauer spectrometer is designed for obtainment of absorption spectra from movable holder of sample at fixed source of gamma radiation. Container (4) with radionuclide source (2) is installed between traction rods of vertical frame (8) in transmission of electrodynamic speed modulator (9). Holder (12) of gamma-resonance scintillating detector (11), bracket (16) and container (4) with source (2) are rigidly connected to each other by means of screws (15) and rest on base (11). Efficiency of spectra registration from absorbers with low Mossbauer effect, less than 2%, is improved to prevent ingress of parasite cross vibrations to resonance scintillating detector (11) from base (1), which are caused by bending strain during longitudinal oscillating motion of frame (8).

EFFECT: increased efficiency of registration of gamma-resonance spectra of investigated samples, simplified operation of Mossbauer spectrometer.
