SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the device or appliance intended for elevating and/or descending at least one person. The proposed device arranged on a high-rise structure comprises a long rail-like section, a guiding segment passing along the former, a segment intended for taking force transferred to aforesaid section and segment and an elevating appliance. The latter comprises at least one elevating console at least one platform or seat, a safety device and/or handle at least one force transfer element and/or drive entering the guiding segment and/or section or acting on them, and a member that holds back aforesaid element or drive in at least one guiding section and/or segment or on them.
EFFECT: simpler and safe elevating and/or descent.
