FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous metal casting. The device consists of a composite horizontal crystallising pan with top, bottom and side walls being installed on the driven eccentric shafts. During casting, top and bottom walls of the crystallising pan are moved by the driven eccentric shafts with phase displacement regarding side walls moving reciprocally. The top and bottom crystallising pan walls fixed in the upper and lower supports are moved by a pair of driven eccentric shafts in vertical direction along closed trajectory.
EFFECT: immobility is ensured for window supplying melt metal and being situated in top wall of crystallising pan and upper support; reliable operation of device.
