FIELD: welding jobs.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the device designed to centre cylindrical workpieces, primarily, in electron-beam welding, and can be used in machine building for producing thin-wall cylindrical workpieces made in active metals. The proposed device comprises two pairs of unclamping elements (1, 2) with tapered side surface and cylindrical side part, an unclamping elements drive and a set of sectors (3) making a backing ring arranged to radially move and rest upon the aforesaid tapered side surfaces of unclamping elements (1, 2). Unclamping elements (1, 2) of each pairs arranged nearby each other to axially move have their cylindrical parts facing and articulated by a cylindrical link rigidly fixed on cylindrical part of first unclamping element (1) slide free on over the cylindrical part of second unclamping element (1). Extreme unclamping elements (2) are axially fixed and furnished with annular flanges (6) for the workpiece extreme faces to rest thereupon.

EFFECT: reduced eccentricity in simultaneous centering and welding of three cylindrical parts, higher quality of welded seam.
