FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for argon-arc welding of tubular detail annular joints, one of which is in the form of a cup with a central hole in the bottom and the other is of a tubular shape. A package of tubular parts is formed by placing the tubular part on a support and placing the above-mentioned glass-like part in the bottom with the bottom facing upward. A centralizer is put on the formed package of tubular parts, made in the form of a glass with diametrically formed holes in its wall. An axial compressive force is applied to the bottom of the centralizer, and the tubular parts are fixed by local argon-arc welding of the joint over its outer surface through the holes of the centralizer. Then, the axial compressive force is removed, the centralizer is removed, and the joint is welded from the inside of the tubular part package in the pulsed mode.
EFFECT: possibility of misaligning the welded tubular parts is eliminated, as well as the probability of occurring tensile stresses in the weld metal, which significantly reduces its strength in the finished product.
