FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed assembly of jointing together the gas generator housing and free turbine of gas turbine drive that features a separate joint of gas generator and free turbine consists of a heat compensator structural elements arranged in symmetry relative the engine axis of rotation. The structural elements form, at the section between the gas generator turbine and free turbine, a circular-section channel making a part of the gas turbine drive gas-air path. Aforesaid heat compensator comprises a separate bellow and at least telescopic joint, the said bellow face edges being attached in the gas generator and free turbine structural elements and its axis being aligned with the engine axis of rotation. The telescopic joint edges are attached to the structural elements of gas generator and free turbine to axially telescope in directions opposite to not attached edges.
EFFECT: gas turbine drive higher efficiency, better alignment, longer life of bellow resulted from unloading forces acting in plane perpendicular to gas turbine drive axis.
