SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump production and can be primarily used for pumping over fluid in whatever industrial branches. The proposed auger-type centrifugal pump comprises and impeller with hub fitted on the shaft and auger. Aforesaid hollow shaft houses an additional shaft for the auger to be fitted thereon. Inside of the additional shaft accommodates a hydraulic turbine representing the auger and is furnished with the channel to force pumped product back from the said hydraulic turbine to the pump inlet. At least one intermediate bearing is fitted between the shaft and additional shaft. Aforesaid bearing can be a magnetic one.

EFFECT: improved cavitation properties of proposed and its higher efficiency.
