FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump production. The proposed screw-type centrifugal pump incorporates an impeller with a hub fitted on the hollow shaft and the screw. The hub has through holes and houses an additional shaft with its one end supporting the screw that acts as a hydraulic turbine and a pump. The additional shaft inside has an axial hole running into the space arranged ahead of the screw. The screw bush front tapered face is closed by a tapered cup to form a circular gap. At least, one intermediate bearing is fitted between the shaft and additional shaft. Note that intermediate bearings can be magnetic.
EFFECT: improved cavitation properties, higher efficiency.
