FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of aviation, in particular to method of sealing non-detachable and detachable junctions of air and fuel compartments in aircraft. Method of sealing includes purification and degreasing of parts surfaces of and sealant fixation. Then internal volume of sealing caps is filled with paste-like sealant, then screw and riveted junctions are covered with them, sealant excess is removed and kept to complete sealant vulcanisation in caps, operation-by-operation control of operation performance quality is carried out.
EFFECT: achievement of potential operating-technical characteristics at sealing junctions of fuel and air compartments in aircraft.
