FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hydro-dynamic sealing. The hydro-dynamic sealing made out of polytetrafluorethylene and designed for pressure tight sealing of a rotating detail consists of the first part resting on a flexible elastomer element and of the second part projecting relative to the said elastomer element along the sealed rotating detail. The second or rear part of the sealing is assembled concentric relative to the said rotating detail. The first part of the sealing which is secured to the elastomer element is also assembled concentric relative to the said rotating detail. In addition the sealing can include a circular movable pivotal portion located between the said first and second parts. Also the said first part, the second part and the circular movable pivotal portion can all together form one continuous sealing surface. Here are disclosed versions of design of the hydro-dynamic sealing.
EFFECT: upgraded reliability of sealing.
