FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns force measurement equipment and can be applied in end thrust measurement in rotating shafts. Device includes linear-annular magnetoelastic sensor of end thrust, phase inverter, alternate voltage source with output connected to sensor excitation coil and to input of phase inverter, adder with one input connected to sensor output and another input connected to phase inverter output. Adder output is connected to low-frequency smoothing filter and gauge over a sequence of band filter and rectifier. Linear-annular magnetoelastic sensor of end thrust consists of sections positioned symmetrically along the shaft perimetre. Each sensor section includes transformer magnetoelastic converters of end thrust positioned along shaft line with a clearance against it.
EFFECT: enhanced jamming resistance.
