FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to operating pocket devices with a touch screen, miniature keyboard or a set of small control buttons, as well as to design of covers. It is presumed that, the control components of the pocket computer comprise a touch screen and control buttons. A device which fixes the pocket computer is worn on at least three fingers of the hand except the thumb. The pocket computer is operated by pressing the respective areas on the touch screen and control buttons using the tip of the thumb or a working part made from solid material with a narrow tip, fixed on a second device, worn on the thumb. The device for holding an electronic device in the hand has a pocket for the given device and a fastener of the pocket to the fingers. The shape and size of the pocket enable holding the device. The fastener is located on the side edge of the pocket and provides for loose fastening of the pocket on 2-4 fingers and is a mesh made from elastic material, which can be tied around fingers.

EFFECT: more reliable method of operating a pocket computer with one hand due to prevention of its falling.
