SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information processing. In the method, after receiving the information on the gesture activation mode entered by the user, input is entered into the input mode, respectively, of the information on the gesture activation mode entered by the user, and the user gesture information is identified in a certain input mode. Additionally, the intent of the user is identified by a given correspondence between the gesture information and the operation instruction. Input mode includes keyboard input mode and mouse input mode. User controls terminal in a familiar input mode environment by using only the conventional method for performing input operations, for example touch operation and touch-slip operation. Invention does not require that the user memorize a plurality of correspondences between gestures and operations, by implementing a pre-match between the generally accepted basic user input operation and the standard operation event via a keyboard or mouse.
EFFECT: technical result is wider range of means.
