FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to fuel-cells, particularly to fuel-cells with operating temperature ranging from 120 to 200°C, containing liquid acid as an electrolyte in a matrix-separator. According to the invention, the active layer of the electrode has a porous structure, and contains fluoro-polymer particles and particles of a carbon electroconductive carrier with a deposit of platinum particles. The said active layer also contains oligomeric perfluorosulphonic acid. Patented here is also a method of making the electrode and a membrane-electrode unit with the proposed electrode.
EFFECT: design of an electrode, use of which improves discharge characteristics of the fuel-cell.
