DETERMINATION METHOD FOR KAMPER'S HORIZONTAL PROJECTION ON PATIENT'S FACE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B6/00 

FIELD: medicine; orthopedic stomatology.

SUBSTANCE: on patient's face, radio-opaque markers are fixed near hircus and wing of nose in vertical direction to form nose-ear line, and lateral head teleradiography is conducted. As radio-opaque markers, narrow perforated self-adhesive bands are used. Perforations of 1-3 mm in diametre are situated close to each other, along central axis of the band; the bands being fixed near hircus and wing of nose in parallel to each other. On the teleroentgenogram, Kamper's horizontal is plotted through anterior nasal spine and base of external acoustic duct. Perforations on both bands, through which Kamper's horizontal passes, are marked and then projected on patient's face trough respective points, obtaining nose-ear line.

EFFECT: simple determination of Kamper's horizontal projection on patient's face using radio-opaque perforated self-adhesive band; convenience in doctor's work.
