FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and is aimed at constructing a prosthetic plane in removable and non-removable prosthetics. Device for determining a prosthetic plane of a human face comprises a U-shaped occlusal plate with a base and a handle, as well as two side indicating plates. Above-mentioned occlusal plate with a base, handle and indicating planes are connected monolithically to each other and are made in the same plane of the same material and have the same thickness. Side indicating plates are connected to the base by the occlusal plate at an angle of 90–170°. Side indicating plates have at the ends tongues bent at an angle of 90–170°. Bent tongues of both side indicating plates are parallel to each other. Indicating groove passes along the axial line of the handle and the occlusal plate. Device is used as follows. Doctor orally introduces the device to the patient so that the occlusal plate is clamped with the teeth or gums of the patient, and the side signal plates are located on the occlusal rims along the lower nasal plane around the patient's face. With sufficient clamping of the occlusal plate, the tongues of the indicating plates can serve as accurate beacons for defining and constructing the prosthetic plane of the patient's face. Wherein the curvature of the tongues will allow them to be located in the infraauricular area, which in turn will allow the doctor to make the necessary measurements to determine the face's protoplasmic plane.

EFFECT: use of the device will allow improving the accuracy of determining the face's protoplasmic plane.
