FIELD: medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: methotrexate pre-incubated with autoliquor is introduced. It is ensured with oblique skin incision within Dandy's point. Dorsicorn of right lateral ventricle is punctured with a shunting tube. A low-pressure valve pump is attached to a ventricular shunt end. A leading segment of said pump is attached to a cisternal shunt end. The tube and valve pump used as a liquor tank and methotrexate pump is located subcutaneously. Liquor 2 ml is sampled with percutaneous puncture from the pump, mixed with methotrexate 5 mg, delivered back to the pump, incubated with autoliquor therein in natural temperature conditions. The prepared composition is introduced partially into great occipital cistern by pressing the pomp.
EFFECT: method extends range of products for loco-regional chemotherapy of brain tumours.
