FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method of o-isobutyl-s-2-(n,n-diethylamino)-ethylmethylthiophosphonate (substance of type Vx) destroying. The method comprises the action of the UV-radiation at wavelength 250 - 400 nm on the mixture of the Vx type substance with carbon tetrabromide in the carbon tetrachloride or methanol solution.
EFFECT: method allows to decrease the concentration of Vx type substance in the closing stage below 2% and to carry out the complete decontamination of the including munition shells surfaces without substantial damage to them.
