FIELD: welding works.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to welding, particularly to covered-electrode arc welding method and can be used in different engineering fields. During welding, an arc is generated using a covered electrode with diametre 1-1.9 mm and 6-25 A current, with inductance of welding circuit of 5-15 mH with discharge 1000-2000 mcF capacitors. When a layer of molten electrode metal appears on the end of the electrode, the electrode is moved the object being welded and the arc space is forcibly closed with the blob, moving it into the welding bath without turning off the arc.
EFFECT: method allows for welding steel with thickness of 0,3-0,7 mm in suspension without burning-through.
