FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: current invention relates to recovery method of nickel, cobalt and other metals from lateritic ore by heap leaching, and also to receiving by this method product. Method includes stages of breaking, agglomerating, stacking of heap and heap leaching. Additionally this last stage is continuous countercurrent system of heap leaching with two or more stages, consisting of two phases. One of two phases contains of ore (soluble), and other consists of leaching solution of solvent, which are fed from opposite ends of stages succession and which run in opposite direction. While stopping the leaching at the last stage its soluble is removed, and to the first position it is introduced the new stage, formed by new ore (soluble), which is subject to leaching by solvent solution. Solvent is introduced from the last stage, percolating or leaking through all preliminary stages up to achieving by it the first stage. It becomes separate, when it is enriched by target metals.
EFFECT: new method of recovery of nickel, cobalt and other base metals from lateritic ore.
