FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to engineering industry, and can be used in various branches of industry, including for drives of mixers. Pneumatic rotary engine speed control method involves throttling of inlet and outlet holes of the engine depending on its speed. Throttling is performed owing to reaction torque of electric generator installed on the engine shaft and interacting with a throttle. Throttling value is specified by controlling electric generator load. Device used for controlling pneumatic rotary engine speed consists of a stator with inlet and outlet holes, a rotor with radial blades and a shaft, and electric generator with a housing, which is installed on pneumatic engine stator. Device is equipped with an adjustable throttle through which the engine is connected to pneumatic system. Generator is installed so that it can be turned. Generator housing is spring-loaded and rigidly connected to regulating throttle element. Generator output is connected to adjustable resistor.
EFFECT: possibility of remote speed control by means of one control.
