FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic transmission requiring speed varying under load changing conditions. Automatic transmission consists of a planetary gearing mechanism containing input shaft (1), input pinion (2), key planetary shaft (3), output planetary shaft (4), output shaft (5), bearing planetary pinion (6) that rotates frame (7). The planetary shaft is represented with rotor (8) having a certain inert moment. Therefore shaft rotation is equivalent to gyroscope precession resulting from external loading of output shaft (5). The rotor speed of rotation (8) varies depending on output load changes. The same is applied to output shaft rotation speed (5) resulting in spontaneous change of transmission ratio together with output load changes.
EFFECT: transmission operation at transmission ratios, which spontaneously change when output load changes without any control operations.
