METHOD OF LABORATORY-HEMATOLOGICAL DIAGNOSTICS OF DEGREE OF ACUTE RADIATION SICKNESS SEVERITY AT STAGES OF MEDICAL EVACUATION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01N33/48 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to radiation medicine. In order to realise method of laboratory-hematological diagnostics of degree of acute radiation sickness severity at stages of medical evacuation on any of 22 days of post-radiation period peripheral blood of victim is tested. Content of reticulocytes, leukocytes and leukocytic formula is determined, additionally reticulocytogram is composed in shorter version, absolute number of eosinophils, monocytes, reticulocyte index, indices of neutrophil granulocyte reactivity and blood system reactivity are determined. Obtained results are estimated by degree of deviation from normal parametres, compared with data from table for diagnostic estimation of degree of radiation sickness severity, selecting all its clinical versions, corresponding to parametres of said hematological indices. Diagnosis is made by quantitative predominance of estimations of one or another version of acute radiation sickness.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of early diagnostics of ARS of light and medium degree of severity.
