FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: software is identified by means of software identifier (ID) (SWI), and hardware is identified by means of hardware identifier (ID) (HWI). Software is hashed to produce code profile. Code signature is created for code profile, SWI and HWI. Image of code is formed with software, SWI, code signature and certificate. Certificate contains cryptographic information used for authentication of certificate and confirmation of code signature correctness. Image of code is downloaded in device. Device confirms correctness of software for affixment to hardware prior to performance of software. In order to confirm correctness, device authenticates certificate with open key of certification center, inbuilt in device. Device also confirms correctness of code signature with application of cryptographic information contained in certificate, information in image of code and identifier of hardware inbuilt in device.
EFFECT: development of device for confirmation of software correctness.
