SUBSTANCE: SI-free apparatus is configured for wireless communication and interacts with an SI apparatus that has access to the subscriber ID. The SI-free apparatus has a transceiver for communication in a local network and a processor for establishing a matching with SI. The SI apparatus is provided with a non-SI-related public key via a first communication channel. The SI apparatus is sent a verification code via a second communication channel. The channels are different and include an OOB channel. The SI apparatus is provided with the confirmation of the presence of a non-SI-related private key via the first or the second communication channel. A SI-related certificate containing a signature computed on at least part of the non-SI-related public key is accepted from the SI apparatus.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of establishing wireless access to the core network for an apparatus without a subscriber ID (SI-free).
