FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to biochemical pharmacology. The method of new diagnostic criteria is simple, work time expenditures to evaluate threshold of table salt gustation are 10 minutes. Haptoglobin genotype is identified with the home equipment with work time expenditures taking about 2 hour. Identification of haptoglobin genotype and threshold of table salt gustation (TTSG) precede pharmacotherapy. If prior to the treatment, haptoglobin genotype either 1-1, or 1-2 is observed with medium threshold of table salt gustation <0.32%, prognosis for hypotensive therapy is considered to be favourable. And if prior to the treatment, haptoglobin genotype 2-2 is identified, and threshold of table salt gustation is high >0.32%, prognosis for hypotensive therapy is unfavourable.
EFFECT: method ensures development of the new diagnostic criterion, enabling to predict efficiency of prescribed hypotensive preparations while detecting the patients resistant to hypotensive therapies, as well as possibility to predict individual reaction to hypotensive pharmacotherapy.
