SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology and therapy, and is applicable for assessing the risk of developing chronic kidney disease in males with stage II hypertension. Solves the problem of determining a high-risk group of developing chronic kidney disease in males with hypertension of the second stage for the necessary preventive and therapeutic measures. To assess the risk of developing chronic kidney disease in men with hypertensive disease of the second stage, anamnesis is taken, the level of taste sensitivity to table salt is determined at admission, level of uric acid, Beck’s Depression Inventory score; probability of developing chronic kidney disease is calculated. If the value is more than 0.5, this indicates a high risk of developing complications such as chronic kidney disease; while if the value is less than 0.5, the risk is considered to be low.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to more accurately identify at early stages groups of high risk of developing CKD among men with hypertensive disease of the second stage, which require an individual plan of dispensary observation, a complex of preventive measures and correction of the main antihypertensive therapy.
