FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal deformation process and can be used at manufacturing of products of rod type with head, for instance bolt blanks, screws, bolts, rivets. It is received blank by means of wire drawing or calibration hot-rolled metal. Maximum lateral dimension of hot-rolled metal is 0.90-1.02 from the greatest lateral dimension of product rod. Value of common degree of deformation at wire drawing or calibration is accepted up to 20%. Then it is implemented shaping from product blank with usage of sediment. Additionally ratio of common rod settling degree across-track direction to common degree of deformation at wire drawing or calibration accepted value no less 0.5.
EFFECT: consequently it is provided manufacturing capability enhancement, reduction of effort at wire drawing or calibration and increasing of structural behavior of received products.
