FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: from hot-rolled metal by means of wire drawing or calibration it is received blank. From blanks it is formed product. Total deformation ratio at wire drawing or calibration and total yield rate across-track direction of rod stage of maximal lateral dimension is accepted by total quantity, not exceeding 40%. Lateral dimension of hot-rolled metal is selected from condition: dc.mjn-K<dh.r.<dc.max+K, where: dc.mjn - minimal lateral dimension of rod stage of maximal lateral dimension, dh.r. - lateral dimension of hot-rolled metal, dc.max - maximal lateral dimension f rod stage of maximal lateral dimension, K=0.5 mm - for products with maximal lateral dimension of rod stage of maximal lateral dimension up to 12 mm, K=0.7 mm - for products with minimal lateral dimension of rod stage of maximal lateral dimension up to 27 mm, K=0.9 mm - for products with maximal lateral dimension of rod stage of maximal lateral dimension above 30 mm.
EFFECT: reduction of energy intensity and labour-intensiveness of process, expansion of method's manufacturing capabilities.
