FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the method of converting carbon monoxide into C2 + hydrocarbons and to effluent, formed from this method. Description is given of the method of converting carbon monoxide into C2 + hydrocarbons in the presence of hydrogen and catalyst, containing a metal and a carrier, containing silicon carbide, forming hydrocarbon effluent. The carrier contains more than 50 wt % silicon carbide in beta form. Description is also given of a C2 + hydrocarbon effluent obtained using the above described method, containing hydrocarbons, methane and CO2, containing more than 70% mol. mixture, containing 50-90% mol. C6-C12 hydrocarbons and 10-50% C13-C24 hydrocarbons and containing more than 90% mol. mixture of hydrocarbons from C6 to C25.
EFFECT: increased output of liquid products.
