FIELD: production of hydrocarbon fuel. SUBSTANCE: method involves: (a) contact mixture of carbon monoxide with hydrogen with the help of catalyst, said contact is carried out at elevated temperature and pressure; (b) contact thus prepared hydrocarbon product with hydrogen in the presence of catalyst of hydroconversion, the process is carried out at such conditions that no isomerization of hydrocarbon product or no hydrocracking of hydrocarbon product takes place; (c) contact at least portion of hydrocarbon product from (b) stage with hydrogen in the presence of catalyst of hydroconversion, the process is carried out at such conditions that isomerization and hydrocracking of fuel take places to prepare mainly paraffin hydrocarbon fuel.
