FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of lithium-bearing raw materials, particularly to method of lithium extraction from mineral raw materials. Method includes preparation of charge from the raw materials and flux in the form of sodium carbonate, charge melting, water melt granulation. Then it is implemented chipping of granules, its repulping, treatment by sulfuric acid and water leaching with extraction of lithium into solution in the form of lithium sulphate. During the charge preparation in the capacity of mineral raw materials there is used beryl-spodumene concentrate at receiving of mass ratio in it SiO2/(Na2O+Li2O), equal to 2.0÷2.3. Water leaching is implemented with additional extraction of beryllium in the form of beryllium sulphate.
EFFECT: raw materials base expansion of lithium manufacturing, providing reduce the price of the extraction process of lithium.
