FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of beryllium extraction from raw mineral material. Method involves charge preparation of spodumene beryl concentrate and flux, and charge melting. After melting, water granulation of fusion cake, granule reduction and leaching by sulfuric acid is performed. Charge is prepared of spodumene beryl concentrate and flux to obtain weight ratio of SiO₂/(Li₂O+Na₂O) equal to 1.9÷2.6. Aqueous leaching is performed with additional lithium extraction.

EFFECT: obtaining residual cake with low content of toxic beryllium, reduced cost of beryllium extraction process, extended source base of production.
