SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to composition of cast iron. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 2.8-3.2; silicon 1.8-2.2; manganese 0.8-1.2; magnesium 0.0002-0.0003; aluminium 0.7-0.9; nickel 6.0-7.0; vanadium 2.2-2.6; boron 0.05-0.1; cobalt 1.3-1.7; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: hardening of cast iron.
